Booking Policy

Appointments can be booked online through the website. You will receive a booking confirmation by email once your appointment has been made.

Some colour services, colour corrections or larger changes may require a consultation before the full appointment can be confirmed.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please use the link in your confirmation email or contact Shen as soon as possible.

Late cancellations or missed appointments may affect future bookings, and Shen may request a deposit for larger appointments in future.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, Shen may need to shorten the appointment, adjust the service, or rearrange it depending on the time available.

Colour & Patch Tests

New colour clients, colour corrections, major colour changes or clients who have not had colour with Shen recently may need a consultation or patch test before their appointment.

If a patch test is required, it must be completed before the colour service can go ahead.

Deposits

Deposits are not currently taken automatically online. For larger colour appointments, colour corrections or long bookings, Shen may request a deposit manually before confirming the appointment.

If a deposit is requested, the amount and terms will be explained clearly before payment is taken.

Service Results

Hair results can vary depending on your current colour, condition, previous treatments, home care and hair history. Shen will always give professional advice before carrying out a service.

Refunds & Concerns

Hair services are non-refundable once completed. If you have any concerns after your appointment, please contact Shen as soon as possible so she can review and advise.

Privacy Policy

Hair By Shen collects the details needed to manage appointments and enquiries, such as your name, phone number, email address, booking details and any information you choose to provide through the contact form.

Your information is used to manage bookings, send appointment messages, reply to enquiries and keep basic client records. Hair By Shen does not sell your personal information.

Your details may be processed through website tools such as Amelia, WPForms, WordPress, email services and hosting providers where needed to run the website and manage appointments.

You can request access to your personal information, ask for corrections, or request deletion where appropriate by emailing hello@hairbyshen.co.uk.
